One last view of fall - Portland, Maine

This fall was extraordinarily vibrant, yellows so yellow - oranges so orange - reds so vivid - browns so, you get it. This is the tree right outside my office window. When the sun hit it, the reflection was so bright that it was a constant distraction. Well that and the mixed flock of juncos, white throated sparrows,  song sparrows and chippers. :)

Then all that rain came and the tree is virtually stripped of it's coat of colors but it's not alone, everything around here has shifted to the primary colors of brown, browner and browner. With the clock change tonight it won't bother me so much, it'll be dark when I go to work and dark when I get home.

At this point, I'm looking forward to the snow.
