No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights.

So yes, we decorated last Friday. What I have neglected to tell you is that after I had placed lights around the bases of a dozen or so trees around my yard with a few hundred feet of extension cords, a co-worker gave me a bunch of her no longer but slightly used outdoor decorations - complete with a pair of deer, a tree, a sleigh and a santa set. Monkey and I put them all out on Thanksgiving morning and we turned them on that night, then we took a cruise through the neighborhood to see what our competition looked like. When we got back and rounded the corner, I laughed and I laughed and I laughed - our little house was glowing like New York City! I'm still giggling, as you can hear in the video below.
