A pond up the road

There is a small pond upta road apiece that we stop at quite often. It's full of Yellow, Pink and White Pond Lillies, Bullfrogs and Painted Turtles. It makes me jealous, as my yard is sandy and dry and incapable of such a watery space. It is, however, accesible for us arid homeowners. :)

  1. You know I'm unset because mine where pink in the beginning but now are white...but I still think they are beautiful and so do the fish and froggie!!!

  2. I know what you mean about being in a place too dry for a pond. I had to line a hole with plastic to make a pool. Everyone should have a place where they can go to dabble in the water

  3. And I love your little gardens, both of you! I consider a setup similiar to what each of you have once in awhile, then I remember that I have a boy. Oh yeah - not a good combination (see the June blog "What does an almost 9 year old do on a super hot 90 degree day"). I might be cleaning up far more than I ever imagined.
